This machine has been built from the SCM Specification list with every joinery company in mind. A compact and highly flexible machine designed to be part of every Joinery Workshop.

The machine comes with as Standard;
– 8HP, 3 Phase Motor with automatic motor braking.
– 2.2 Metre surfacing tables.
– 6 m/min and 12 m/min Selectable Feed Speeds.
– Thicknesser Maximum Working Height of 240mm.
– Thicknesser Table Dimension 410mm x 775mm.
– Fence with built in flip over fence and Tilt adjustment to 45 degrees.

UPGRADE FITTED TO MACHINE, 410mm XLYENT Spiral Block;
We have bought this machine in with the XYLENT block upgrade, this reduces the noise while the machine is running, aids dust extraction and gives an exceptional finish when compared to the Tersa alternative. Each Knife can be turned 4 times and damaged knives do not need to be replaced as they do in a Tersa block, effectively the knives last 4 x longer than the standard Tersa Knives.

Both Noise and Dust are on the HSE watchlist, with a number of recent well documented social media campaigns from the HSE about woodworking and joinery joinery workshops, the Spiral Block on this machine runs quieter than the Tersa or Centre Lock alternatives and the design of the spiral tips creates a wood chip rather than fine dust, which extraction units can handle better.
