SCM Compact XL, 4 Head Planer Moulder.

Refurbished SCM Compact XL 4 Side Moulder.

The Compact XL is a small footprint moulding machine that has 4 Individual planing/moulding heads. Moulding work can be done on both side heads and the 4th Head (top). This machine has a power rise on fall for the finished working height on the top head and has manual adjustments for the finished width and moulding adjustments. All positions are indicated by digital dials on the front of the machine.

This machine came to us from a customer in Part Exchange and could be seen running in the workshop. This is a great entry level moulding machine or can just be used as a strong 4 Sider for PAR as it has Uprated motors on all heads. As with all SCM equipment parts are readily available and out knowledge of the SCM range of machinery means we will always be able to assist with any machine or set up issues.

The first hold down roller can be excluded using a Pneumatic Switch to straighten the timber.
